BUKITTINGGI---Kabupaten Pasaman Barat mengalami dampak terburuk pasca Bencana Gempa Bumi yang melanda beberapa kawasan Provinsi Sumatera Barat pada Jum'at 25 Februari kemarin.
Dalam menyikapi bencana itu, Wali Kota Bukitinggi Erman Safar menggerakkan tim Badan Penanggulangan Bencana Daerah (BPBD) Kota Bukittinggi untuk bergabung dengan tim BPBD Kabupaten/Kota lainnya untuk berangkat ke Kabupaten Pasaman Barat guna membantu proses evakuasi korban dan Assessment (pendataan) dampak bencana.
Tim yang berangkat pada Sabtu (26/02/2022) terdiri dari delapan orang personil BPBD Kota Bukittinggi dan 4 Relawan KBLK (Ketahanan Bencana Lingkungan Kelurahan) yang diberangkatkan dengan 2 unit kendaraan roda empat unit ranger dan Hilux.
Dengan membawa perbekalan alat evakuasi antara lain sinsaw, cangkul, gerobak, linggis, tali dan tenda,serta paket bantuan bencana diantaranya, selimut, paket tas school kit (alat sekolah dan masker).
Menurut Informasi dari Kalaksa BPBD tim yang berangkat ini di lokasi akan bergabung bersama tim penanganan dampak Bencana dari TNI, Polri, dan Satuan lainnya.
